1. Deposit Overview
1.1 The leak detection deposit is R1,300 (One Thousand Three Hundred Rand), which represents the first hour charge of our leak detection service fee.
1.2 This deposit is required to secure your appointment date and time with Atlantic Leak Detection Specialist.
1.3 The deposit will be applied to your final invoice upon completion of the leak detection service.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 Payment of the deposit must be made in full before your appointment is confirmed.
2.2 We accept the following payment methods:
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
- Card payments through Yoco online payment system
2.3 Your appointment slot is only secured once payment has been received and confirmed.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1 No refunds will be provided if you cancel your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time.
3.2 Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment may be eligible for a full refund at our discretion.
3.3 The 48-hour period is calculated from the exact date and time of your scheduled appointment.
4. Rescheduling Policy
4.1 You may reschedule your appointment without penalty if the request is made more than 48 hours before your originally scheduled appointment time.
4.2 Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of your appointment will be treated as a cancellation, and the deposit will be forfeited.
4.3 If Atlantic Leak needs to reschedule due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we will contact you immediately and reschedule at no additional cost. Your deposit will remain valid for the new appointment date.
5. Service Terms
5.1 The deposit secures professional leak detection services using specialized equipment and expertise.
5.2 You are paying for our professional time and expertise, not a guaranteed result or outcome.
5.3 Our leak detection service includes:
- Professional assessment using advanced leak detection technology
- Detailed leak detection report
- Expert recommendations for repair solutions
5.4 All appointments are subject to weather conditions and site accessibility.
6. Liability Limitations
6.1 Atlantic Leak’s liability is limited to the amount of the deposit paid.
6.2 We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the leak detection service.
6.3 Our service does not include any warranty or guarantee regarding the complete elimination of water leaks or prevention of future leaks.
6.4 Any excavation, repairs, or remedial work recommended in our report will be at your own cost and risk.
6.5 We are not responsible for any damage to landscaping, paving, or structures that may be necessary to access leak detection areas.
7. General Terms
7.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
7.2 Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
7.3 If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
7.4 These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your deposit payment will apply to your service.
7.5 By paying the deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
